Shift your attention to the stillness of the present

Why do we think so much?

We have learned to use our heads instead of our hearts. Or rather she uses us. Obviously we have no control over that.

We identify with and take personally every thought that crosses our mind. We forget that it is just a voice repeating things we have heard in the past. AND mainly we forget that it is not us.

Especially when we have certain thoughts associated with pain.
In those moments, it can be almost impossible to get out of it.

Instead of remaining still and in what is actually happening around us right now, we live in thoughts. In our illusory world, where we constantly deal with the past or the future. We worry about things that aren't really there.

Aren't actually there!

It is only our interpretation of reality that troubles us. When we really look around, we realize that nothing is happening.

Why is that so?

The biggest cause of our overthinking is fear. Out of fear for the survival of our imagined selves, we focus on the biggest threats and prepare for the worst possible scenarios. Not only do we spend so much energy and attention on events that would never happen, we also use our imaginations to create such situations in our lives.   

I myself am no guru and despite a lot of effort and work to become aware of my inner world, I still fall into the same traps. Sometimes it just seems stronger than me.

That's why I painted this artwork.

Its mission is to put an end to often toxic thinking that does more harm than good. 

 

Its task is to help people shift their attention to the body, to the heart, to the present moment, to the earth.

Grounding means letting go.

Anchoring in the present.

In what is real.

And feel the support of your being.

To feel that everything is as it should be.

You will not find this in thoughts. 

You can do that by stopping listening to them.

Only then can you begin to perceive something else.

Something that constantly whispers to you and guides you in the right direction.

Something that is your essence.
