Freedom 5

At the Art in Prague 2020 exhibition, a painting called Freedom was exhibited, but it already had its owner. A few days after the opening, I was asked if it would be possible to paint a new one as a gift that would be inspired by the original. When I was painting Freedom 2, I got the idea that I could paint a whole series of paintings with this theme because of the great success. This is the fifth work of this Freedom series.

The original Freedom was just a vision of a wonderful future where I would no longer have to chase money all my life. It arose from the feeling that people are like slaves who have to study hard to get a job. Then to work to survive until they die. When I realized in my youth that this is what my whole life would look like, I broke down. I didn't want to live that kind of life. I will not live such a life. However, I tried to suppress this feeling for many years and did what normal people do. But it started coming back to me in the form of depression during dark days and restless nights. I knew deep down that I wasn't born for this kind of life, but I kept denying it. I told myself that there is no other way and everyone does it too. Meanwhile, I painted my feelings on canvas, often under the influence of alcohol, which helped me hold it all together. This is how the work Freedom was created, which was a vision of my dream life. I thought money was evil and imagined life without it. But then I started to learn that it doesn't have to be like that at all. I began to learn how the mind works, and how we were unconsciously programmed by the ideas of adults and society when we were young. I began to learn that it is possible to reprogram the mind and thereby change our lives.

Now I'm starting to live the life I want, the way it's depicted in the original work, just because I was able to change. Now I'm doing well, money has stopped avoiding me and real freedom begins. Now these paintings are no longer just visions, they depict reality. I can now fly away and do what is the meaning of my life.
