This painting is the most significant work of the flower series so far, which I have been developing for many years.
It all started with a single photo of a daisy I took in my grandmother's garden when I was young.
A few years later I decided to paint it, and thus my first almost realistic painting of a flower was created.
Since then, several other paintings have been created capturing the beauty of flowers. A custom reversed daisy, paintings of poppies for charity, and countless other artwork loosely inspired by nature.
And that brings me to this magical flower that is associated with the sun. So much so that it has it in its name.
Flower of the Sun makes me feel peaceful and reminds me of calm and warm summer evenings with the last rays of the sun. I am sitting somewhere in nature and feel the fresh breeze of the surrounding forests. In front of me I see a beautiful flower of the sun, which, like the sun, radiates a beautiful and pleasant energy into my heart.
