Looking in the mirror is a way to admire your outer figure, but it is also the only way to look directly into your own eyes, and since the eyes are the window to the soul, it means to look inside, to reflect on our inner aspects that are not on the outside see.

The mirror puts us in front of ourselves, it shows us the outer and inner part of our being, our body and our soul.

The same thing happens when we observe the works of an artist: the work is a mirror of his soul, a gateway to his deeper self.

The young Czech artist Misha Fryč shows us what is reflected in the mirror with his work entitled "Death in the Mirror": the abstract and indefinite contours of the image of death, which also symbolize the distant future.

But he is not afraid of her, on the contrary, he touches her with his hand.

In fact, the work introduces us to his reflections and his very intimate and personal thoughts: the knowledge that we do not live forever and therefore, without worrying about the future, we must manage to make the most of every moment we are given.

As we can see in the works presented here, the communicative power and effectiveness of Misha's work lies in the ability to blend abstraction with realism, thus combining dream and reality, fantasy and concrete events, inner thoughts and lived life into one whole.
